Here at Procreate IVF, we understand something crucial. While we can recommend a clinic to patients, what really counts is the recommendation and experience of actual patients. We always ask our patients if they’d mind providing feedback. It not only helps the clinic but also aids anyone considering fertility treatment.
See the information below. You will learn more about R & S from the UK. They share their experience having ICSI (with PGT-A) with URE.
For four years, R and S had been trying to get pregnant naturally. Following a series of medical tests in the UK, they felt they were ready to start their IVF journey.
The start of our IVF experience
The pair consulted with IVF clinics in the Czech Republic and Greece before travelling to URE in Malaga, Spain. After much discussion, they decided that URE was the best option for them. They felt they weren’t getting a clear response about cycle dates from the other clinics. “URE were quick to consult with me online; they clarified the procedure and gave me answers to some specific questions I had about age, weight, BMI, and eligibility to receive treatment with them,” RS stated.
Arrival in Spain
Upon arrival, first impressions of the clinic included cleanliness and courteous employees. RS was particularly taken with the clinic’s strong sense of teamwork, noting that “the entire team takes their time to say hello and assist. They are incredibly welcoming and seem more like family than colleagues”.
She described the care that she received as absolutely A*. “I was handed over between the international team, blood department, nurse, and finally the doctor. Egg collection day went quickly, and the anesthesiologist and doctor took excellent care of us. On the day of the transfer, all of the staff looked after me with such care, love, and positivity. They all displayed their excitement.”
Advice to others
We asked RS, “What advice or message would you give to others who are considering treatment abroad?”
She replied, “Go for it, and don’t let the language barrier put you off. Nearly all of the clinics will have an English speaker to assist, and if they don’t, then the translation app will be your best friend! Buy as much medication as possible at the time, and also try to purchase it for transfer and post-transfer; it will work out much cheaper. Don’t forget to factor in the cost of travel.
The outcome
You may be curious as to the outcome of the transfer? Well, after a long 2WW R & S received the news they had been waiting for. Their one little embryo had stuck. They are expecting to become a family of three sometime in the middle of June 2024.
