When you are first told that you need to have IVF treatment, you aren’t sure where to start looking. There is a great deal of information available. But how do you decide what is relevant to you? What information isn’t relevant? Most patients will start by joining various social media sites or forums. People naturally want to find others in similar situations. They seek hope and support in their IVF journey.

We often see group members asking others how they interpret test results or treatment plans. This can often lead to misdiagnosis and false hope.
The best person to guide you is your fertility doctor. However, in order for a precise diagnosis to take place, there are a few things they will need. Firstly, your latest test results, as well as your medical/IVF history, and lastly, your BMI (to avoid OHSS). With this in mind, please be aware that your own treatment plan will differ from that of another patient. Each fertility patient is unique and carries their own set of circumstances and history.
Our recommendation is very simple. Trust in your chosen IVF clinic; they are all experts with many years of experience. Let them lead the way to your own successful pregnancy.
